Hallo ihr Lieben!

Es gibt bestimmt Kategorien, bestimmte Arten von Beiträgen, die auf den meisten Buchblogs vorhanden sind. Das Logischste ist aber meiner Meinung nach ganz selten zu finden: Einfach Buchvorstellungen von Büchern, die man besitzt. Egal ob gelesen oder ungelesen. Deswegen möchte ich euch mehr meine Büchersammlung zeigen, seit ich einfach nich mehr so zu Neuzugängeposts komme. Heute gibt es ersteinmal meine englische Sammlung. Die hat sich erst in letzter Zeit so richtig versammelt... Weswegen viele noch ungelesen sind! Generell liebe ich es, auf Englisch zu lesen. Aber meistens greife ich zu einem deutschen Rezensionsexemplar und meine englischen Bücher verschwinden irgendwo in meinem Hinterkopf. Damit das nicht passiert, stelle ich euch heute einen Teil davon vor.

Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver

Das wäre mein drittes Lauren Oliver Buch, ich habe ein weiteres auf Englisch von ihr, sowie ein Deutsches. Fernab, dass all ihre Bücher einfach nur wunderschön anzuschauen sind, spricht mich jede ihrer Geschichten an. Sie hören sich alle ein bisschen 'edgy' an - nicht allzu perfekt und glatt, sondern ein gewisses Etwas, gepaart mit einer Einzigartigkeit, die meine Lieblingsbücher ausmachen. Ob sie dem entsprechen, kann ich leider noch von keinem sagen - ich bin noch nie dazugekommen, sie zu lesen, aber ich bin verdammt gespannt!

I'll give you the sun by Jandy Nelson

So viele haben dieses Buch geliebt und haben es nicht gescheut, das auf allen möglichen Social Media Accounts zu verkünden. So wurde ich natürlich unglaublich schnell angefixt - und jetzt steht es schon zu lang in meinem Regal... Aber ich freue mich mit jedem Mal, wenn ich den Klappentext durchlese, mehr darauf!

The Museum of intangible things by Wendy Wunder

Hannah and Zoe haven't had much in their lives, but they've always had each other. So when Zoe tells Hannah she needs to get out of their down-and-out New Jersey town, they pile into Hannah's beat-up old Le Mans and head west, putting everything-their deadbeat parents, their disappointing love lives, their inevitable enrollment at community college-behind them.

As they chase storms and make new friends, Zoe tells Hannah she wants more for her. She wants her o live bigger, dream grander, aim higher. ANd so Zoe begins teaching Hannah all about life's intangible things, concepts sadly missing from her existence-things like audacity, insouciance, karma, and even happiness.

Das war sogar eines meiner ersten englischen Bücher... Wobei, stimmt gar nicht. Upps. Aber trotzdem habe ich es schon deutlich länger als gewisse andere Bücher in diesem Post. Ich freue mich aber wahnsinnig darauf, es zu lesen. Wendy Wunders Roadtrip hört sich einfach fabelhaft für den Sommer an!

Let's get lost by Adi Alsaid

Einen weiteren Roadtrip, der zwar oberflächlich in eine andere Richtung geht, aber wie so viele Bücher aus diesem Genre behandelt es das Thema 'Sich-Selbst-Finden' stark, jedenfalls entnehme ich das dem Klappentext. Abgesehen davon, dass es wunderschön gestaltet ist, hört sich die Begegnung dieser fünfen mehr als besonders an, ich freue mich, das miterleben zu dürfen!

Von Nina Lacour kommt bald eine erste deutsche Übersetzung - aber von einem anderen Buch. Ich gebe es ja zu - hier hat mich vor allem das Cover angesprochen. Dieses Rosa ist einfach superschön, die handgeschriebene Typographie und das süsse Foto - seeeehr schön! Aber auch der Inhalt hört sich mehr als super an. Emi und ihre eventuelle Zukunft in der Film Industrie und ihr weiteres Leben möchte ich einfach liebend gerne kennenlernen.

 

Rooms by Lauren Oliver

Ja, es ist mal was anderes. Ja, es geht in die Richtung Fantasy. Aber es hört sich einfach wunderbar gut an! Lauren Oliver kann mich mit jeder ihrer Ideen restlos begeistern, und schon seeeehr viele Bücher haben mich angesprochen, mehr dazu vorher. Vielleicht mehr ein Winterbuch, aber um so lange zu warten habe ich keine Geduld!

To all the Boys I've loved before by Jenny Han

Lara Jean keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren't love letters that anyone else wrote for her, These are ones she's written. One for every Boy she' ever loved-five in all. When she writes, she can ppour out her heart and Soul and say all the things she would never say in real life, Because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly Lara Jean's love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

Ich glaube, dieses Buch ist langsam aber sicher schon ein Klassiker in der englischen YA-Welt. Nach ihren zwei Trilogien, die ich beide liebend gerne verschlungen habe, war mir klar, am besten gleich all ihre Bücher zu lesen. Lara Jean hört sich so sympathisch an, ich bin wahnsinnig gespannt auf ihre Briefe.

 

Das war die erste Ladung - es gibt aber noch mehr! Ich freue mich zu hören, ob euch so eine Art von Format gefällt... Aber vor allem, welches dieser Bücher ihr mir besonders ans Herz legen könnt (ja, ich hab da schon einen kleinen Verdacht...!) Zusätzlich wäre es superlieb, wenn ihr eure Meinung zu einem Post, in dem ich euch zeige, wie ich die Fotos schiesse und bearbeite, unten in den Kommentaren dalassen würdet.
